My Bloody Valentine Market – Thank You!

Holy crap, you guys!!!

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Nearly 700 of you braved one of the coldest days of the year to come out and support local, alternative artisans!

Once your faces warmed up and your glasses defogged, you shopped so much I had to send some vendors home early, because they sold out and were sitting at empty tables with only a stack of business cards.

Those empty tables and happy vendors make everything we do to put these events together so worthwhile.

Thanks, of course, to our amazing vendors, who also braved the cold (and weird lack of nearby parking) to share their work with the world. It is an honour to work with all of you.

Thanks to Paramount Pictures and The Taro Group for joining us with their promo team for Scream 7, thanks to Fairchild TV for the coverage of our event and many of our talented artisans. And thanks to Amanda Stepto (aka. Spike from Degrassi) who came as a customer but who graciously posed for photos with folks as she supported many of our vendors by buying their cool stuff.

And thanks, of course, to everyone at our fantastic venue, Ground Control. We love working with a venue that is so beautiful, with staff that is so welcoming to everyone.

We return to Ground Control on April 18th for our Gothic Garden Market – please come check us out as we celebrate all things Spring with vendors featuring plants, flowers, animals, and nature. Vendor call for this event ends on Tuesday, February 10th at 1pm so if you are an artisan who makes dark, weird, creepy, or macabre stuff, and want to take part, please visit our website to apply!
