Vendor Application

Northern Noir Market

Saturday,  December 5th
11am – 5pm
Ground Control
1279 Queen Street West, Toronto

Application deadline: 1pm, Tuesday, October 13th, 2026

Vendor notification: All applicants, including those on the wait list, will be notified no later than October 15th, 2026 – please do not contact us prior to that date regarding the status of your application.

Make sure everything on your application is spelled correctly and that your user names are accurate! If you are accepted, information such as your business name and socials will be used to create promotional posts that link back to your accounts. We will not go searching to find you if your details are incorrect – applications with emails that bounce, or links or user names that are incorrect, will automatically be discarded.

Do NOT – under any circumstances – email image files of your work. Instead, include links where indicated – either to socials or an active website or online shop. Your links MUST show examples of the items you plan to bring – if they do not, you will be automatically disqualified.

Returning vendors – we love you and are grateful and appreciative that you wish to come back and work with us again – however, please be aware that there is no special consideration for returning vendors. Every application is judged on the merits of your merchandise and how it fits into the overall theme and curation, what size spot you require, and how much effort you put into helping promote the event.

We also try to ensure vendor turnover from market to market so that customers are not coming back to the exact same vendors/merchandise each time. Not being selected is nothing personal, just us trying to be fair to everyone.

Note that while this is a curated market, and is in no way “first come, first served,” we do start mapping out a floor plan and sending out acceptance letters/contracts before the end of the vendor call, so it is to your benefit to apply early.

To allow us to weed out resellers of new, non-artisanal goods, some applicants may be contacted with a request for a “process” video or images, in which you will be required to show that you have created your merchandise yourself. While we understand this may be inconvenient, it helps us to ensure everything at our market is handmade/original art.

Ready? Awesome… Fill this out!

This is what we will use on all correspondence, contracts, listings and promotion. Please make sure it's accurate and current.
