Early Holiday Market – List of Vendors

Getting your holiday shopping done early is the best feeling.

We aim to help with that at our Early Holiday Market, where Ground Control will be packed full with over 40 amazing artists and artisans, all dedicated to helping you find the weirdest and creepiest stuff for for your holiday gift list.

We’ll be running full profiles on many of these folks in the weeks leading up to market day, so please check out our socials to see some of the great stuff they’ll be bringing with them. But in the meantime, here’s a sneak peek at everyone who will be in attendance with their fabulous festive creations…

Northern Noir Market – Final Call For Vendors

Final call for vendors!

Toronto Dark Arts Market is now accepting applications for vendors for our Northern Noir Market on Saturday, December 5th.

We welcome applications from artists, artisans, and makers of dark, weird, alternative items including art, crafts, clothing, jewellery and accessories, taxidermy and oddities, literature, decor, housewares, toys, and more.

Preference will be given to vendors selling dark, creepy holiday-themed items, as well as gift items, stocking stuffers, etc., with a weird and macabre vibe.

Date: Saturday, December 5th, 2026
Open to the public: 11am – 5pm (free admission)
Ground Control, 1279 Queen Street West, Toronto

Cost: $40 – $200, depending on size
Fully accessible venue with wifi and ATM on site

Application deadline: Tuesday, October 13th, 2026, 1pm

All applicants, including those on the waiting list will be notified of their inclusion status no later than October 15th, 2026.

Note that we only accept applications during the scheduled vendor call from our official website. We NEVER use Jotform, Google docs, Gmail or DMs to engage with vendors.

Hallowmas Market – Thank You For Our Best Ever Attendance!

Sending our thanks and gratitude to all who took part in our 4th annual Hallowmas Market today.

To all 870+ of you who came and shopped from our amazing local artists and artisans – we appreciate and commend you for supporting small, local, Canadian businesses! Thank you for making this our most well-attended market to date!

To the incredible, talented, creative artists, artisans, and authors who show up with such exciting work to share with our visitors, thank you for being with us and trusting that we will do our job to tell the world about your creations.

To our hosts at Ground Control, thank you for your support, professionalism and kindness over the past three years, for opening your doors during the daylight, and for your love and support of the community.

If you missed us today, we’re back at Ground Control on Saturday, November 14th for our Early Holiday Market. Come and start your holiday shopping early with over 40 vendors, all different from those with us today.

For artists looking to take part in a market with us, the vendor call for our Northern Noir Market on December 5th is open until this coming Tuesday, October 13th at 1pm.

– Meta (or similar) glasses are banned in our venue. Photography by customers is not permitted.

We’re excited to announce our full schedule of market dates for 2027.

As always, dates are confirmed but may be subject to rescheduling or cancellation, depending on what craziness life throws at us.

We’ve got ten markets planned in total, with two Bookish markets that will feature authors, small publishers, zines, stationery, etc.

Early Holiday Market – Vendor Call Now Closed

The vendor call for our Early Holiday Market on November 14th is now closed. We thank everyone who expressed interest in taking part.

All applicants, including those on the waiting list, will be contacted no later than September 17th. Please check your inboxes and spam folders.

We ask that artisans who did not apply during the vendor call please do not contact us asking for a spot – any cancellations will be filled from the existing wait list.
