Today – Merry Creepmas Market

Tomorrow… Merry Creepmas Market
Saturday, December 6th
11am – 5pm
Ground Control
1279 Queen St. W.
When you need a Christmas craft fair where things are a little bit darker and creepier.
Please join us on Saturday, December 6th from 11am – 5pm as we take over Ground Control for our annual holiday market.
We’ll be hosting 35+ artists and artisans featuring work that is weird, spooky, and macabre, perfect for when you’re shopping for that special someone, even, or especially, if that someone is you.
Our market is (mostly) family-friendly. Our gorgeous venue is close to parking and transit, is fully accessible, and has an ATM on site. The bar will be open for customers to enjoy a beverage while they shop.
Admission is free.

While we certainly hope you’ll come by and check out our many amazing, talented vendors and their cool and creepy wares, we know that not everyone on your list is hoping for stuff covered in bats and skulls. (Not sure why, because that’s the best stuff, but to each their own…) There are many other great markets and fairs taking place on December 6th, and if you make a plan, you can probably hit them all.
After you visit us, of course!
Merry Creepmas Market

Ground Control
1279 Queen St. West
Also running on Sunday the 7th:
Outside the city, you can also get your Creepmas shopping done with some of our friends at other amazing alt markets…
And if you’re one of those super last minute shoppers, The Bazaar of the Bizarre will be at Parkdale Hall (1620 Queen St. West) on December 20th so you don’t have to try and find cool creepy gifts at a gas station.
We hope you get the chance to come visit us, as well as check out some of these other great events, and that you are able to support small local artisans and businesses this holiday season.

Because we are aware that it’s hard to be an alternative indie artist right now, we are delighted to announce three new markets for our 2026 event schedule that will help create more opportunities for local artists, artisans, and creators.
Our Book-ish Market in May 2026 will feature authors, writers, indie publishers, and creators of book and writing-related items and accessories such as journals, paper, pens, and cards.
To accommodate the huge number of jewellery and accessory vendors who apply to our markets, we’ve added a Fall Fashion Fair in September 2026, which will also be open to indie clothing designers and vintage resellers.
And finally, we will be adding an additional holiday market in November 2026 to allow for early Christmas shopping and to offer vending opportunities to even more makers at the busiest time of the year.
Also, please note that we’ve adjusted the date for the 2026 instalment of our Hallowmas Market from the previously announced date to October 10th (Thanksgiving weekend), to hopefully allow for a wider spread of events across the month, making it easier for more vendors and customers to take part.
A full list of dates and vendor calls can be found below, with more info on each market available by selecting a specific event from the drop-down menu.

Thank you to everyone who joined us yesterday to take part in our 3rd annual Hallowmas Market.
At a time when selling what you make is becoming more and more difficult, we were overjoyed to see so many people come out to support small local artists and artisans. Thank you to every single person who came through the doors – your purchases mean so much to our vendors and demonstrate that there is so much value in what they do.
